I'm currently a researcher in the Institute for Software Research at Carnegie Mellon University. My broad research interests are in geographically distributed software development and collaborative software engineering. My current research activites are focused on better understanding the product structure - organization structure relationship in large-scale distributed software development projects by using empirical methods (see the Research page for descriptions of my current projects).
I received a BS in Information Systems Engineering from Universidad Tecnologica Nacional (Argentina) in 1996 and a MS in Information Networking from Carnegie Mellon University in 2000. I also received a MS and a PhD in Computation, Organizations and Society (COS) from Carnegie Mellon University in 2007.
